The On the Tip of Your Tongue series identifies words in 11 key categories for you to learn to be an effective speaker in that language. This series is productive because you can approach a language from both sides: the language you wish to learn, with the words in that language first, followed by your language with each word spoken twice. In many ways students find this approach less stressful in learning because they can hear the new language and think about the proper word in their own language; using both approaches in tandem works best for most people. The 11 categories are Encuentros, Alojamiento, Los Numeros, Emergencias y Urgencias, Los Dias y los Meses, La Hora, El Comer, El Transporte, Correo-Telefona-Dinero, Turismo y Compras, Preguntas-Preguntas.
